Lovegrove currently makes her home in Matlacha, Fla., but her works are displayed in numerous galleries throughout the world. Her art is instantly recognizable for its exuberant technique and tropical color palette. She is constantly creating unique opportunities and unusual outlets for her works to manifest themselves.

about Marco Rubio on the Joy Behar CNN program.
And why not? Lovegrove's fertile, creative spirit dreamed up the original Florida Coconut Postcards and souvenirs. She ships hundreds each year from her international headquarters in Matlacha, Florida.
Lovegrove is now creating coconut postcards emblazoned with the slogan I'm Coconuts Over Marco Rubio. She's sent out the first one and, yes, she sent it to Donny Deutsch from the Marco Rubio fans all over the USA.

An exhibit of patriotic artwork by Leoma Lovegrove runs until Feb. 14, 2010, at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre art gallery, 1380 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers. The show, entitled "Still a Grand Ole Flag," includes several of Lovegrove's interpretations of the American flag and will be in place throughout the production of "George M,' a musical about the life of George M. Cohan. Several other works were done in collaboration with community members in response to anniversaries of 9/11.
